Rumors of My Demise...

So, after what seems like an eternity, I decided to update everyone on some things that have been happening for me.  Some really exciting stuff is in the works, and some is already out!

New Short Story!

In case you missed it, go check out my latest short story The Monster in Blue!  It has proved to be more controversial than I thought, but whether you like it or hate it, I hope it made you think.  Click HERE to face the monster!

Book Fair!

Back in October, I had the pleasure of visiting Morris, IL for a local Corn Festival.  The organizers decided to have local authors come out for the second year in a row, and I was flattered that they hosted me too.  I met some very nice people there, including the great John Bruni (if you're into bizarro stories, be sure to check him out!  Not for the easily offended!  You have been warned!).  The event wasn't all it could have been due to the rain forcing us inside, but I had a good time nonetheless!

Podcast Course!

After months of working on the script, rerecording the entirety of the class, AND going through some delays, I'm proud to announce my first online course in collaboration with Light Vision Group!  It's called "How to Podcast Course" and is available now on Teachable!  I've always been into podcasting, and it turns out that I've been doing it longer than I thought.  Those of you that have listened to me all the way back in The Monday MOOcast days know how long I've been recording.

What always struck me most about podcasting was just how easy it was to set up.  So, why not help others broadcast their own messages?  In less than one hour, you will have the exact steps you need to set up your own show and broadcast to millions of people!  I didn't want to bore my audience with hours upon hours of information, so I took the essentials and packaged them with a nice little bow on top!

If you've ever wanted to quickly and easily learn how to podcast, this course is for you!  Click HERE to begin conquering the airwaves!

New Podcasts!

The class ties in nicely to my newest podcasts!  I have two BRAND NEW shows that are available RIGHT NOW!  The first is a guided meditation podcast.  Called "Meditations by Gregory T. Obert," this show is intended to highlight community healers and their various meditations that will enhance your life.  Every other week, I'll upload a meditation read by me and put to relaxing music.  It's a great time, and early reception has been overwhelmingly positive.  Click HERE for healing!

Miscellaneous!

As you can see, I've been rather busy over the past few months, and I haven't even mentioned my interview with Stu Taylor, wherein I was able to promote The Man on the Bench on terrestrial radio!  I'll be sure to link to those interviews soon, so keep an eye out for them.

Next, I wanted to tell you all about my newest Facebook page!  It can be found HERE!  I didn't want to keep updating The Man on the Bench page since not all of my updates are relevant to the book.  Instead, I created a page about me so all updates will apply.  Please click HERE to Like the page and receive all my latest updates on Facebook!

I have a few more projects in the works, so you can be sure that those will be getting shoutouts as soon as I'm able to tell you all about them.  Additionally, I've decided to continue writing my next book over the long Thanksgiving break I'm fortunate enough to have.  This new series (yes, series) will be completely different from my first book.  While I can't say too much, I will say that everything that happens in this book is because of the events within The Garden of Eden (no more hints out of me today!).  The book is still a long ways off from even having its rough draft done, but the little I've written so far has me even more excited for what the future holds.

Lastly, I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support me and all of my various projects.  Your continued encouragement allows me to keep pushing forward and bringing you all the best content I can create.  Thank you for your book reviews, shares, likes, and well wishes over these past nine months.  And to those of you who haven't done any of that, I still want to thank you for taking the time to read my humble blog on a regular basis.  YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Cheers,

Gregory T. Obert
